One-on-One Sessions

Online and In-person

I offer one-on-one sessions for people navigating grief, fear, life transitions, unprocessed pain, or experiences that feel heavy, complex, or hard to hold alone, as well as the deeper questions of who they are and why they are here. Together, we gently explore the hidden stories, emotions, and protective patterns that shape your life, creating space for what has been ignored, pushed aside, or left unresolved to finally be heard and healed.

Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic healing work, and dream work, I help people not only heal old wounds, but also discover meaning, reclaim vitality, and find a deeper sense of direction and belonging in one’s life.

WHAT I HELP WITH

You may notice certain patterns repeating in your life— a persistent inner critic, self-doubt, or finding yourself in relationships and situations that don’t truly support you. You might be carrying unresolved pain or fear, or a feeling of being fundamentally flawed. You may want relief from overwhelming feelings that keep you stuck.

You may feel unsure of your work, your gifts, or place in the world, caught in cycles of rumination or overthinking, or moving through a significant life transition such as a divorce, career shift, or moving. Or something in you is ready to break longstanding patterns and live in a different way.

And perhaps also, a part of you simply longs to be seen, heard, and understood— just as you are.

Our work supports healing and processing those challenges, and opening space for a more alive, aligned, and deeply true way of being.

“The very thing you think is holding you back is the very thing that's going to move you to where you want to go.”

—David Whyte

I welcome individuals and couples of all gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnicities, nationalities, and religious or spiritual backgrounds. My work is inclusive, non-judgmental, and supports the unique experiences each person brings to our work.

The Feel of a Session

Sessions are an hour, and may extend if time allows. We might focus on a specific challenge—such as unprocessed pain, fear, or recurring relationship patterns—or simply follow what is naturally asking for attention in the moment.

We begin with a brief moment of turning inward, allowing you to settle into your body and reconnect with your inner self. From there, we gently explore the emotions and experiences that are ready to be truly seen, felt, and supported.

Emotional wounds often live in the body— as tightness in the chest, a knot in the stomach, or a lump in the throat. Together, we slow down and bring attention and care to these places, allowing space for unprocessed emotions and unresolved patterns to soften and shift.

After each session, I offer at-home practices for you to continue the inner work between our sessions. I also offer helpful ways to navigate difficult emotions that may arise between sessions, and ways to support your nervous system in becoming more steady and resilient.

Many people find it helpful to take a little time after your session to reflect, journal, or simply breathe, allowing the insights and healing to settle.

Online sessions work best in a quiet, private space where you won’t be disturbed. No preparation is needed— just come as you are.

MY APPROACH

I offer a space of genuine warmth, curiosity, and care, where you can come as you truly are. In our work, people often begin to feel softer, with more space inside, more capacity to breathe deeper. There can be a sense of opening and relief, of becoming more alive, with less constriction, fear, or heaviness. Emotions that once seemed to haunt you, finally quiet down. Alongside this, a new sense of direction and understanding begins to emerge. I offer optional practices between sessions to support the continuation of your inner work, which is an essential part of the process.

MODALITIES

My work mainly centers on somatic healing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic IFS, and dreamwork— approaches that allow us to access the deeper layers of the body, psyche, and unconscious where lasting change unfolds. I also draw from complementary modalities, which I may bring in depending on what feels most supportive in the moment. This allows our work to stay responsive, creative, and deeply attuned to your unique process.

SOMATIC HEALING

Somatic work is grounded in a simple truth— our bodies carry the imprint of our lived experiences.

What cannot be fully processed in the moment does not simply disappear. It settles into the body, shaping how we feel, relate, and move through the world.

Indigenous traditions have long known this. Today, neuroscience and trauma research are beginning to confirm it as well. The body remembers what the mind alone cannot resolve.

Somatic healing invites you into to the language of your body— into sensations, feelings, breathing patterns, and the subtle movements of your inner world. Through this process, your body and nervous system can begin to unwind old survival patterns and restore a sense of safety, coherence, and vitality.

This Work Supports:

  • Challenge expressing needs and creating boundaries.

  • Long-held survival patterns and protective responses.

  • Healing relational and attachment wounds.

  • Reconnecting with the wisdom of your instincts and intuition.

  • Cultivating a deeper sense of safety, presence, and belonging.

  • Heal feelings of being lost, frozen, stuck, or uncertain.

  • People pleasing and chronic caretaking patterns.

  • Numbness, dissociation, and suppressed emotions.

“Sometimes I wake up and have to remind myself: There is nothing wrong with me. I have patterns to unlearn, new behaviors to embody and wounds to heal. But there is nothing wrong with the core of me and who I am. I am unlearning generations of harm and remembering love.”

—Yolo Akili
